I am four weeks and one day old today. My feedings went up to 14.6 cc's per hour. I now weigh 5lbs 15oz. Almost to the 6 pound mark! I am going to be moved from my very own room to a big hostel type room with other babies tonight. This means I am doing better, so they feel I am ok to moving to the big pod. Hopefully one step closer to making my way out of here. The doctors said I should be completely off of TPN in the next 3-4 days if I can tolerate my increases in breast milk throughout the week.
Mom and Dad gave me a bath last night and I loved it. No sponge bath this time. I actually got to sit in the warm water and relax. I just had to leave my PICC line arm out of the water, but the nurse held it for me.
Love, Ben

Hi Beautiful Benjamin,
We are soooo proud of the progress you are making. Before you know it you will be home in your own crib and beautiful bedroom. See you tomorrow. We love you bunches. XOXOXO Grandma Carol and Papa Phil
That is great news Ben!! Hopefully this means you will be going home soon. We are praying that you get off of the TPN soon and that they continue to increase your feedings. Tell your mom and dad to buy earplugs when they move you to the big room, they will need them!! Hopefully we can see you sometime soon, you never know Trinity might be back there before you come home (we hope not!). Take care and stay strong!

Hey Ben, it's Aunt Carin!! I am really, really, really, really proud of you! To be off of the TPN is wonderful news. I'm hoping that you kicked your feet in the water and got mom & dad all wet when they gave you a bath...and that you just didn't tell us that part! If not, you should really try it next time!
Thanks so much for letting me steal your mom for a few hours on Saturday - it was great to see her out :-)
I'll be back from St. Louis on Wednesday night and hope to come see you on Thursday. In the meantime, keep on being awesome!
Love you oodles and tons, xoxo

Hey Peanut Butter!
It was really nice seeing you last weekend, u are the cutest! I told your cousin Emma I got to see you and she told me "I go see him too!" I told her it will be any day now and she will get to see you, don't worry she is a pretty clean kid, cuz her momma, ur aunt Annie, is an OCD freak about being clean and washing hands! Love you lots and can't wait to see you again soon! Love, Cousin Emma and Auntie Annie
Hey Ben,
Uncle Norman here, it was great seeing you last weekend. I told everyone here in Atlanta what a beautiful little guy you are. Your pictures tell it all but nothing like seeing you in person. you take care of your mom and dad. I can't wait to see you again.
Love you
Uncle Norman
Hey peanut! You are getting to be such a big boy - I may not be able to call you peanut anymore :) As the weather gets warmer outside, I am starting to see your master plan - you just didn't want to go home in the cold, so you thought you were stay in your nice cozy big room with nurses at your beck and call until the sun came out for summer so that you and mommy could go for walks! I am on to you!! I know that you are nervous to be around other kids in the pod, but you will see soon how fun it can be to watch and play with other kids (you will just teach them how to wash their hands alot!) Have fun playing in the water for your baths! I will see you tomorrow.
Love - Aunt Katie
