I am officially off of TPN! If I continue to tolerate my feeds I will not have to go back on it. I am up to 19 cc's of breast milk per hour. Tomorrow they will start to condense my feedings. I may be given 60 cc's over 2 1/2 hours. Then I wouldn't get fed for half an hour. I will start getting enzymes in my breast milk on Monday. These enzymes will help me break down the fats, proteins, and carbohydrates in my food. Most people with CF need these enzymes to help them digest their food. Mucus inhibits the pancreas natural production of the enzymes.
Love, Ben

Hey peanut! It was great to see you yesterday. I always love free baby holds! Way to go on tolerating your feedings so well. You really have the hang of it now! I will see you later next week and I know Uncle Jay is working out with Jake when he can come visit.
Lots of love - Aunt Katie (Jay and Jake too!)
Good Morning Beautiful Baby,
You were so good last night. You loved the warm blanket the nurse brought so you cuddle in grandma's arms and loved laying on Papa Phil's lap and looking around. We were so happy to see the TPN bag gone and can't wait until feeding tube is gone too. Keep up the good work angel. We love you, mom & dad bunches, God Bless you all, Grandma Carol & Papa Phil XOXOXO

Ben,
I am so happy to hear how well you are doing!!! I hope this comment goes through because the last couple I wrote have not. I wanted to tell you that I recieved a candle from your mom at your baby shower and I have been lighting it everynight and saying a prayer for you. I also wanted to tell you what a great mom you have and tell you how much I love her. She is so brave and loves you to pieces!! Your dad is probably one of the funniest people I have ever met and I love him too. I am planning on attending the CF walk on the ninth of May and have friends who want to join me. I love you very much little bug- keep up the good work!
Love, Aunt Jessica

Hey Handsome!
Hooray about the feedings and TPN!You are only a month old however you have touched and taught us so many life lessons that a human being maybe never reaches or misses in a lifetime. You are strong and have a very powerful spirit. We think of you and your Mom and Dad and send hugs and prayers everyday.
Love The Rapsons
That is great news Ben! You're doing so good, keep it up!! I hope that you're getting used to your new room and that all the other lil guys are keeping it down so you can get your rest. Can't wait to see you again. Say hi to your mom & dad.
Lots of Love, Meghan
Hey Little Man,
Just checking in. Your cousin, Maddie, loves looking at your pictures. She still cracks up like crazy when she sees your silly dad with that Boppy on his head. You'd think after the 100th time seeing it it wouldn't be quite so funny anymore. Anyway, can't wait until the two of you are belly laughing together. See you soon!
Love,
Aunt Nicole (and Maddie too, Josh is busy watching tv)
