3/28/08

Yesterday I pooped out the green mucus the nurses had been aspirating from my stomach. It looks as if my intestines might be moving in the right direction. The nurses talked about throwing a pizza party in my honor. Mom and Dad were so excited when they changed my diaper. The doctors may start feedings again today. My Uncle Adam came to visit me all the way from Hawaii yesterday. He showed up in flip flops and shorts. Really silly since we got snow.

Mom and Dad will be here in a bit to see me. I will update everyone later on my day.

Love, Ben

Ben,
That is such amazing news! Never thought I'd be so excited about a poop, but I am!
Yeah, your Uncle Adam sure is a silly guy! I know you were giggling inside when he made the comment about a shower and brushing his teeth, seconds before he drank your mom's water! That was pretty funny stuff!
It was so good to see you again yesterday and I hope you keep moving forward, but sideways is okay, too! :-)
Much love,
Aunt Carin

Good Morning Beautiful Boy,

Your Papa Phil, Great Grandma P, and I were so happy when you daddy called last night telling us that you pooped. Keep up the good work buddy. Bet your Uncle Adam loved the snow last night, bummer. Snow is fun to play in (you'll see soon), but a pain to drive in. See you later today, God Bless you Baby and Love you, Grandma Carol

Hi Ben,
Great news about the pooping!
I remember when I finally pooped, I thought my dad was going to start doing back flips! Trust me, 4 years later they aren't quite as excited about my poops anymore...don't worry I still make them look! I can't make life too easy on them! They will soon learn that us CF'ers are tough little guys! My mom and dad a training for a marathon to raise money for CF and I just laugh at how sore they get from the long runs! Like they have anything on us!:)

Have another great day...keep pooping!

Your friend, Cameron

I'm a BLOG failure. I posted a comment last week, but don't see it. I work with your cute Mommy at TACOM. I am so greatful for this BLOG because all of her friends can keep up to date on your progress without bugging her too much. The internet is wonderful for some things! Keep fighting the good fight...you are loved by so many. I met you once briefly, and hope I can visit again soon. Mary, Jim, Brady and Bubba Dwyer xoxoxoxoxoxoxooxox
