I no longer have the tube going into my mouth down into my stomach. I am only hooked to the monitor and I have an IV for my TPN. I am losing weight so hopefully they will start feeding me soon. The doctors said 7-10 days since surgery. Tomorrow will be 7 days. I am a very angry boy since I can not eat. My pacifier only satisfies me for so long. It is all about patience and waiting for now.

Hey Ben,
Keep fighting and you will be home soon! I was so happy to finally meet you this weekend. Your Mommy and Daddy are truly an inspiration...their strength is amazing. We continue to pray for you. Logan and Delaney can't wait until they get to meet you.

Good Night Beautiful Benjamin,
Grandma loved rocking and holding you tonight. We can't wait until your mommy can feed you again and you will grow stronger. God Bless you and your mommy and daddy. We love you, Grandma Carol & Papa Phil
Hey Peanut Butter!
I love you very much!!! Get better so you can eat some good stuff! Emma sends her love and she still calls you baby Jack, so when you meet her, don't give her a weird look when she calls you that. She is only 2 and when she has her mind on something there is no changing it, or she gets mad! I wonder whos child she is?haha! Love you lots! Give mom and dad my love too! Love, Auntie Annie!
Keep up the good fight Ben! We are all praying for you...and be sure to keep giving them grief!! Soon enough they'll want you to eat all the time and you can give them grief about that too!! It's our right!!
Your friend, Cameron
Oh little Ben, I'm so sorry that you're having some rough and stinky days. I know how crabby I get when I don't eat, so you must be beyond frustrated. That's pretty good news that the tube is out though - I know how much you hate that.
Hang in there, and when I get back from New Jersey I'm going to come visit you. I will pray that they can start the feedings again so you can chubby-up and go back home soon.
I miss you and love you (and mom & dad, too). XOXO, Aunt Carin
Hey Peanut! I went shopping at Kohl's today and of course I ended up in the baby section. I saw all of these adorable outfits for little guys like you. I didn't buy anything though because I know that you have a whole closet full of great new clothes to wear at home. You need to put on a few pounds to get into some of them. You just wait - once you get to eat, you will as big of an eater as Jake. Tell mom and dad, "No Problem! I'll eat!" I am looking forward to some free baby-holds this afternoon when I come see you :)
Lots of love -
Aunt Kate (Uncle Jay and JD too!)

Hey Ben -
Ugh-a-lug! On my birthday I found out you were going to get to go home (what an awesome gift), and that was such great news to have as I was leaving for my vacation....just got back & my heart hurts for you to see that you've had some rough days while I was gone. You are such a tough little guy, and I am so proud of you for all the fighting you've been doing. Keep at it. Give your mom & dad lots of love for me. You are all in my prayers.
Lots of Love -
Meghan
